ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL GOLF TOURNAMENT!

September 20th marked our Annual Golf Tournament held at the Davis Golf Course. It is very hard to believe it was our 30th tournament!

All the club members and the staff of Cameron’s Place, formerly Multi-Disciplinary Interview Center, wish to thank all of our golfers, sponsors, and supporting merchants who contributed to the success of our tournament. Please see our thank-you ad published in both the Davis Enterprise and the Woodland Daily Democrat, which follows.

Again, the weather was beautiful, and many lunched outside on the patio in memory of Barbara Muller. Despite fewer golfers than in the past, our net reached a new high! We raised just over $20,000 to support the programs of Soroptimist International of Greater Davis and Cameron’s Place. Funds will be used by our club for Soroptimist grants/scholarships and serving Yolo County abuse victims at Cameron’s Place.
In review of the past ten years, a total of $162,905 has been raised by our tournaments. We could not have done this without all of our golfers, sponsors, supporting merchants, and our partnership with Cameron’s Place.
