ANOTHER FUN GOLF TOURNAMENT!

September 21st marked our 29th Annual Golf Tournament held at the Davis Golf Course. Due to last year’s response, we retained a September date. All the club members and the staff of MDIC (Multi-Disciplinary Interview Center) wish to thank all of our golfers, sponsors, and supporting merchants who contributed to the success of our tournament. Please see our sample thank you ad published in both the Davis Enterprise and Woodland Daily Democrat which follows.

The weather was beautiful, and many lunched outside in the remodeled patio area in memory of Barbara Muller. Unfortunately, our number of golfers was down due to competing events the same day. We did, however, raise over $13,000 to support the programs of Soroptimist International of Greater Davis and MDIC. Funds will be used by our club for Soroptimist grants/scholarships and serving Yolo County abuse victims by MDIC. Note: MDIC will be our partner again next year with a new name Cameron’s Place. Their mission of serving Yolo County abuse victims remains the same.
